Holiday Pay Calculator (2026)

The two kinds of Philippine holidays

Regular holidays (10 fixed dates plus Eid'l Fitr and Eid'l Adha): you are paid 100% even if you don't work; 200% if you work; 260% if you work on your rest day. Special non-working days: "no work, no pay" applies; 130% if you work; 150% on a rest day. Overtime on either type adds 30% of the hourly rate on that day's rate.

See all dates on our Philippine holidays 2026 list (per Proclamation 1006).

Conditions for the 100% unworked rule

To be paid on an unworked regular holiday, you must be present (or on paid leave) on the workday immediately before the holiday. Daily-paid employees under "no work, no pay" arrangements should check their CBA or company policy for special days.

Frequently asked questions

What if the holiday falls on my rest day and I don't work?

For a regular holiday you still receive 100% of your daily rate. For a special non-working day, no pay is due unless company policy says otherwise.

Is Christmas Eve (Dec 24) a regular holiday?

No — in 2026 it is a special non-working day (130% if worked). Christmas Day (Dec 25) is the regular holiday (200% if worked).

How is holiday overtime computed?

Hourly rate on that day (daily rate ÷ 8 × the day's multiplier) plus 30%: on a regular holiday that's 200% × 130% = 260% of the normal hourly rate per OT hour.
